No blood.

I know now nobody, no one from my family, is willing to help me. And I thought blood was thicker than water?
Now I'm left wondering with why would anyone help me? FML.

Tintarella di luna.

Lunar eclipse right now. According to one of my horoscopes, an eclipse hasn't been in my sign for 18 years, so this is a meaningful one. I really hope so.
Full Moon in your romantic sector in 2 decades is formed. The first total lunar eclipse in your romantic sector in 18 years creates a supercharged Lovers Moon, with the love gods declaring that anything is possible.
Woot! Anything is possible daw. Sana sana. *crosses fingers*

Susan Miller also said on Twitter:
Eclipses are good: they give us truth, expose weak links+make us strong.
Here's a good read: How to Deal with Eclipses

At moonrise, I just needed to go outside, at the front of the house to see the moon. Now the moon has traversed the sky so I can only see it from the back of the house, from the library. I thought I had to go outside, on the street to view it. Been taking peeks intermittently. It really is an amazing sight. I'll try to take pictures again once some light shows through again.

Just dance.

So I was feeling particularly down and angry and frustrated today. I was ready to tweet, "Lord, kunin mo na ako, wala na naman yata akong silbi." *hikbi*

But that was just too morbid, even for me. I really wanted to watch that Moymoy Palaboy video, the one of them dressed as Spartans and dancing to Ke$sha's Tik Tok, because it never fails to make me laugh. But since YouTube is still down due to SmartBro's ineptitude, I just listened to Ke$sha's album. And then I put on Janet Jackson. Now I'm listening to Madonna.

Kahit maraming problema, idadaan ko muna sa sayaw! Hindi baleng mapagkamalang baliw. Ano ngayon, noon pa na naman ako buâng! Xp

Hala, sayaw!

Twenty years.

It was my high school's 20th year reunion last Saturday, but I didn't go. Based on the photos shared on Facebook, it seemed like they had a lot of fun. Lots of food, too, and lots to take home--I'm assuming because there was a lot left over and naturally, instead of letting it go to waste, just let everyone take something with them! (Now I kinda wish I was there, if only for the food, ha ha ha.)

There are already intentions and initial plans for the 25th year reunion. Will I be able to make it then? Akala ko talaga makakapunta ako noong Sabado. Imagine, I did think I'd be out of this rut over a year ago when the invites were initially sent out. And guess where I still am? Stuck in a moment I can't seem to get out of. Mamamatay ka talaga sa akala.

Notes on PR6.

Logan Neitzel is hot! The silver pants episode was memorable. "I'm gonna distract Heidi with my silver pants." But it was stylist Jennifer Rade who got distracted: "You're really cute and I like your pants and sneakers." LOL. (BTW she's also Angelina Jolie's stylist and has been referred to as the anti-Rachel Zoe, haha.)

I'll admit I didn't like Heidi Klum at first, meaning when she started becoming famous through her Victoria's Secret modelling. But now I realize she's actually cool and funny, too! Favorite Heidi moment this season was when she advised Logan to "turn up the volume," then in the following challenge Logan does the zipper-collared dress. Heidi exclaims Logan must be "all about zippers!!"

Morgana has a purple jacket which I think I have, too. I forget where I purchased it though. She wears it in several episodes. It's a purple-lined hoodie. But I think hers had the brand/label intact. I'm guessing I got mine at the ukay-ukay or secondhand shop with the label torn.

"Our emotions gets triggered by things we don't consciously think about." Morgana said that in the divorceé challenge. And I really love the final dress she made (except I agree with the judges that it wasn't too good in the back), especially considering how pretty her inspiration was, which was the Monet painting.

One of the divorceés also said this is how she learned how to walk like a model: that you're better than everyone else in the room and pissed off.

Althea is also a good woman's designer. Like Heidi noted, she knows all these tricks and illusions to make anybody look good in a dress.

Now that I've re-watched the season, I really don't like Carol Hannah's style. It's too feminine and frou-frou for me. And all she did for the challenges were dresses! She only did the pant and shorts for her final collection. Or maybe the reason why I don't like her now is because she got together with Logan! Yep. I looked Logan up on Google and found out he moved to New York and has started a shop there. And also saw photos of them together attending functions and whatever. Oh well.

I think I now know what qualities the judges are looking for in determining the winner:
1. Hands, or technical savvy.
2. Eye, or vision not only of who you are as a designer, but what you can see from your environment/inspiration and integrating it into your work.
3. Heart, or passion. Of course.
(4. I think taste levels count, too, because it may be well-made but tacky.)

But Michael Kors said in the first season: who do you want to see more of? And that is also key. I find myself asking that question whenever I see the final runway. I think I've correctly guessed the winner twice this way. PR5 doesn't count because I accidently read beforehand who won. And I think for PR7 and PR8 as well because they've listed EVERYTHING in the Wikipedia page.

I'm listing all this down because I need more space in my HD. Originally I intended to transfer the episodes onto DVD, but my CD-ROM is selective nowadays: sometimes it'll play, sometimes it won't, but most unfortunate of all, it won't copy files :(

Auf Wiedersehen.
